In the heart of Herndon, Virginia, the GFWC  Herndon Woman's Club has been creating a profound impact. Two years ago, the Education and Libraries group discovered the power of teddy bears in community policing.

Collaborating with the Herndon Police Department, they have generously donated over 36 bears, finding homes in interview rooms and patrol cars, offering comforting "bear hugs" to those in need.

Through their collective efforts, they have become a beacon of comfort and hope for children in their town.
