In 2009, Ragina Ireland, was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a year of surgeries and treatment, she was put on the road to full recovery. Her experiences inspired her to found a non-profit organization, Make Chemo Bearable, that educates and supports those who are undergoing a life-changing ordeal.
One of Make Chemo Bearable's hallmarks is to deliver colorfully packaged bears, which happen to be our Colorama Bears, which have a booklet nestled onto the bear's lap entilted "Tips for Coping with Chemo". They make great gifts for anyone undergoing chemotherapy and can be purchased here.
In addition to the great resources on the website, Make Chemo Bearable's Facebook page has plenty of pictures and information too.
